Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions. If you don’t see what you’re looking for, reach out — we’re happy to help.
How long does it take to detail my vehicle?
It depends on the condition of the vehicle, the size/type (car, truck, SUV, etc.), and which services you choose. Once we see the vehicle (or a few photos), we can give you a realistic time estimate and get you on the schedule.
What is paint correction?
Paint correction is the process of safely removing surface imperfections like swirl marks, light scratches, haze, oxidation, and water spots to restore clarity and gloss. We use machine polishers with specific pads and polishes to refine the paint and bring back a deep, clean finish.
What is ceramic coating?
Ceramic coating is a professional-grade polymer that bonds to your vehicle’s clear coat to add protection and make maintenance easier. It helps repel water, dirt, and road grime while adding a noticeable gloss and helping protect against UV exposure and environmental contaminants.
What’s the difference between ceramic coating and wax?
Wax sits on top of the paint and wears off relatively quickly. Ceramic coatings chemically bond to the paint for longer-lasting protection and better resistance to heat, UV rays, harsh detergents, and contamination. In short: wax is a short-term shine; ceramic is long-term protection.
How long does ceramic coating last?
Longevity depends on the product used, how the vehicle is stored, and how it’s maintained. Some coatings last a few months, while professional-grade coatings can last years — with many products rated up to around 5 years when cared for properly.
How do I maintain a ceramic coated vehicle?
We recommend a proper hand wash at least every two weeks. As the coating collects contamination, you may notice less water beading/sheeting — that’s usually a sign it’s time for a wash. Avoid automatic brush washes when possible, and consider using a spray “ceramic boost” after washes to keep the coating performing its best.
Do you charge additional fees for after-hours, weekend, or holiday appointments?
In some cases, yes. Appointments scheduled outside normal business hours, on weekends, or on holidays may be subject to an additional fee depending on availability, location, and the type of service requested. We’ll always communicate any added cost up front before confirming your appointment.
